Honda Clarity Plug-In and Clarity Electric Unveiled

“Electrification is the future of mobility and the future of Honda, and it all starts now with this new Clarity series.”
Steve Center, VP of Connected & Environmental Business Development, American Honda

Last month at the 2017 New York International Auto Show, Honda unveiled the remaining two vehicles in its 3-vehicle Clarity series—the Clarity Plug-in Hybrid and the Clarity Electric. These two vehicles join the previously unveiled Clarity Fuel Cell, which debuted last winter in select California markets (Dublin Honda was one of the dealerships chosen to carry the Clarity). Honda’s array of electrified vehicle options is the first vehicle series that gives customers a choice of fuel efficient powertrains: fuel cell, battery electric, or plug-in hybrid.

Beyond their obvious incredible fuel efficiency, the Clarity series is making waves for other reasons, for the quality, beauty, and spaciousness of their interiors. With comfortable seating for five adults, and each variant outfitted with premium, environmentally responsible materials, it’s clear Honda applied the same thoughtfulness to passenger comfort as it did toward designing superior, fuel efficient powertrains.

Both the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid and Clarity Electric will be available later this year, and when they arrive in the Dublin Honda showroom we’ll be sure to let you know. This wave of the future is just as exciting to us as it is to Honda lovers worldwide. To car lovers everywhere. It’s amazing to imagine the possibilities—what will the future bring next? While we wonder, ponder, and dream on that, here are a few quick facts about what we know now about the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid and Clarity Electric.

Something to remember when these Clarity variants hit the market.
